Party at the Plaza with Love Stories TV

Hey guys!

Hope everyone is having a great day or night depending on when you’re reading this. Can you believe it’s already the end of June? Where did the time go?!

On Tuesday I had the opportunity to attend an event in the Royal Suite in The Plaza and it was INCREDIBLE. A huge thank you to Love Stories TV for hosting! (If you LOVE people’s wedding videos, you have to check out Love Stories TV, but don’t blame me when you binge watch.) Basically it was every girl’s dream, we all got to dress up in fabulous gowns from Anne Barge, Kleinfeld Bridal Party, and Allure Bridals, sip champagne, get our hair and makeup done by MG Hair and Makeup and reenact that scene from Friends (see the photo below).

Another highlight of the evening was meeting so many lovely people who work in weddings. It’s not every day you get to dress up and have complete strangers compliment each other on how gorgeous they look. We are all so busy with our jobs, friends, and families that I’m sure some of us really needed those three hours just to chill! Personally I loved having my makeup touched up and chatting with the makeup artist. I’m super into beauty, so it was definitely right up my alley! (And for those of you wondering, my gown was Anne Barge.)

In addition to the hair and makeup services and the gowns, there were also veils and heapieces from Sara Gabriel, pieces of jewelry to try on from Platinum and Kwiat, manicures provided by Freshcoat, and a videographer (Jordan Jeanty) and photographer (Du Wayne Denton) to capture it all. And the goodie bag? Forget it! It included a mini bouquet from Buunch and a bunch of awesome beauty products including ones from Living Proof, amika, and Birchbox. I can’t wait to try them all!
