NYBFW: Fall 2019

While much time has passed since I attended New York Bridal Fashion Week in October, I figured I would recap what I saw at the few shows that I attended. Fashion week is always my favorite time of year because of all of the new and gorgeous gowns that I get to see! I’m so grateful that I got invited to a few shows even though at the time my following on Instagram was only around 500.

I started my fashion week off at the Sophisticated Weddings’ party, which let’s be honest, is like the giant wedding of your dreams! Not only were there some gorgeous gowns on display, but tons of food, amazing music, and the opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones.

The next day, I was off to the Pnina Tornai Dream Collection runway show. As usual, the collection didn’t disappoint. From the dreamiest ball gowns to sleek and slinky silhouettes, each and every gown was stunning, and there was a dress for any bride no matter what her bridal style may be.

On Friday, I went to look at some of the newest gowns by Adi Shlomo, who is a young designer based out of Israel. Her gowns are modern, whimsical, and feminine.

That night, I went to my first ever Dany Mizrachi show. I had heard of Dany before but never really delved into his designs. After meeting him at the Sophisticated Weddings party, he invited me, and I was so excited! His designs are really unique and perfect for the fashion-forward bride.

Over the weekend, I assisted the team at Rish Bridal with their market appointments, which was so fun! If you’re a boho bride (which I’m not but let me tell you…I wanted ALL of the Rish gowns), then this brand is perfect for you! The collection was light, airy, effortless, and on-trend.

And last but not least, I wrapped up my New York Bridal Fashion Week experience by going to see Yaniv Persy’s Lavish by Persy Collection, which is at a lower price point than his couture. The gowns were so dreamy with floral and lace details, yet sexy at the same time.
